NON TEACHING STAFF

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT
The Non-Teaching Staff are employed in Army Public Schools under following categories based on term of employment :-
FIXED TERM APPOINTMENT (CONTRACTUAL)
These appointments are made, on contract, for a fixed term for three years. the contract will be only for one term, non extendable and non renewable. The appointment of such staff automatically stands terminated on last day.
ADHOC/TEMPORARY/CASUAL/PART TIME APPOINTMENT
The appointments in this category are made against leave vacancy or in case, the school is not able to find a suitable staff through routinely prescribed procedures. Such appointments are for a very limited period not exceeding 11 months.
Vacancies could be ‘Contractual’ or for ‘Fixed Term’ in nature, which shall be informed at the time of announcement of vacancies, during publication of advertisements.
Candidates are advised to carefully observe the advertisement, before applying.
Stage - I (Interview)
The respective school announces the vacancies available through various means like local Newspapers, the School Website, Notice Board etc. Candidates would have to apply in response to these announcements. The interviews may or may not be held at the location of the school. They may be held as per discretion of the local management.
Stage - II (Computer Proficiency)
Test for Computer Proficiency will be conducted along with the interview. Candidates will not be called separately for this stage of the selection process unless the number of candidates is large and cannot be managed on the same day.
A Committee nominated by the Interview board shall peruse the Education documents and Experience Certificates and ascertain their authenticity, on the day of Interview.
